P.D. Newman is a writer, lecturer, documentarian, and music producer from Tupelo, Mississippi. He is the author of Alchemically Stoned: The Psychedelic Secret of Freemasonry, Angels in Vermilion: The Philosophers Stone from Dee to DMT, Theurgy: Theory and Practice, and Tripping the Trail of Ghosts: Psychedelics and the Afterlife Journey in Native American Mound Cultures.
RIME, also known as Jersey Joe, is an American artist rooted in the graffiti tradition, born in Brooklyn in 1979. He began painting in 1991 and has since exhibited in galleries and created ambitious public works around the world. He approaches each piece like a visual diary, fusing bold color, movement, and a personal lexicon of cartoon-inspired creatures, symbols, and hidden narratives.

After Guillain-Barre syndrome reshaped his teenage path from magician to mystic, he turned to the study of sacred plant medicine, and among his peers has become a trusted psychedelic guide and mentor.
Andy Sudbrock is a medicine man, shamanic practitioner, ceremonial guide, and founder of Sacred Path Retreats, where he helps people reconnect with themselves, nature, and a deeper sense of meaning. Drawing on both modern neuroscience and ancient wisdom traditions, he creates safe, intentional spaces for transformation and healing. He previously spent more than three decades as a restoration ecologist.
By purchasing a ticket to or attending Phoenix Rising: Psychedelic Speakeasy (the "Event"), held November 5, 2026 at Analog at the Hutton Hotel, Nashville, TN, you agree to these terms. The Event is produced by Edward Crowe LLC (the "Organizer").
Tickets are sold through our authorized ticketing partner. All sales are final and non-refundable except where required by law or where the Event is canceled. Tickets may not be resold above face value. Entry may be refused for invalid or duplicate tickets.
Doors open at 6:30 PM and the program begins at 7:30 PM. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful. Attendees are responsible for complying with all venue policies and applicable laws.
